Lower-intensity sessions prioritise steady-state aerobic work, helping participants build a strong cardiovascular base, improve recovery capacity, and develop better movement economy. Mid-level intensities focus on threshold conditioning, where controlled discomfort enhances lactate tolerance, pacing ability, and overall resilience under sustained effort. High-intensity sessions push into the anaerobic and power zones, developing speed, explosiveness, and the ability to maintain quality output under fatigue.
